Walther CP-99 Sport is a modern, multi-shot CO₂ air pistol developed by Umarex in collaboration with Walther. Inspired by the renowned Walther P-99 combat pistol, this model has been adapted for sport shooting, training, and recreational use.

Design – This air pistol stands out for its high-quality craftsmanship and exceptional durability. The frame is made from rugged polymer, providing both lightness and long-lasting resilience. The internal mechanism operates smoothly, thanks to the precise alignment of its components. The grip, modeled after the combat version with ergonomic contouring and textured surfaces, ensures a secure and comfortable hold.

Power Source – The pistol is powered by a 12-gram CO₂ cartridge housed in a mock magazine within the grip. A single cartridge delivers approximately 60 shots. The high gas efficiency enables consistent shooting with a muzzle velocity of up to 110 m/s (361 fps).

Magazine and Ammunition – This model utilizes an 8-round rotary magazine compatible with 4.5 mm diabolo pellets. The magazine is inserted into the slide, simulating the operation of a real handgun and providing an ideal platform for accuracy training and realistic handgun handling practice.

Barrel and Accuracy – The rifled barrel ensures excellent precision, especially for target shooting at distances up to 20 meters. The CP-99 Sport excels in both static precision shooting and dynamic drills resembling IPSC training scenarios.

Sights and Accessories – The pistol’s frame features a 22 mm Picatinny rail for mounting accessories such as a laser sight or tactical flashlight. Fixed iron sights come with high-visibility markers, enhancing target acquisition speed.

Safety and Handling – The CP-99 Sport offers straightforward, intuitive handling with a DAO (Double Action Only) trigger mechanism. A right-side sliding safety prevents accidental discharge. The enlarged trigger guard allows easy access to the trigger—even while wearing gloves.
