The Kukri features a curved blade that is thicker and heavier at the base, tapering toward the tip. This unique shape allows for effective cutting, chopping, and slicing, making it a highly versatile knife well-suited for various camp tasks and outdoor work.
X50CrMoV15 (1.4116) - molybdenum-vanadium high-carbon, martensitic stainless steel, highly resistant to corrosion and wear. Used in the manufacture of knives, high-end cutlery and surgical instruments. It is characterized by a fairly high, for stainless steels, hardness of 56-58 HRC. The chemical composition of the steel is enriched with an admixture of 15.0% chromium (Cr), 0.80% molybdenum (Mo), 0.20% vanadium (V).
